Some 10-25% of individuals have some degree of joint hypermobility. 1 in 5000 people has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). For many people, hypermobility is not just about having lax joints, being bendy and good at yoga. It can disrupt your day to day life in many ways you may have come to accept as ‘normal’.
Pain, fatigue, repeated soft tissue injuries and digestive issues may be just some of the complaints you are currently experiencing. There are also the psychological aspects of this syndrome that can cause anxiety and fear – particularly around movement and exercise.
Through my own personal experiences of living with EDS, in addition to working closely with clients with hypermobility and EDS, I have created an online course to help you develop a strong, stable body in a healthy, safe way.
As part of this online Pilates course you will:
- Learn more about a safe and effective movement programme
- Build confidence and learn to enjoy exercise
- Be coached by someone who can relate to your challenges
- Strengthen your core and feel stronger every day
