What Does Zebrastrong Mean To You?

What does zebrastrong mean to you? I remember a time when the thought of moving and living pain-free was just a thought. I was in pain, fearful of movement and frustrated at trying many options without success.

Having worked for over ten years with Hypermobile and EDS clients, I know I’m not alone in this experience. I want to change this experience. Through my own path to being zebrastrong – I now know life doesn’t have to be like this. Moving pain-free, feeling happy with my body and mind and without fear is now the norm for me. No matter where our starting place is, we can take those vital small steps to making lasting change.

I worked out recently that I average seeing 10-15 clients with either EDS or HSD every week in my clinics in London.

That’s around 300 sessions since January this year alone.

Every single one of those sessions were different depending on how the client was feeling that day physically and emotionally.

Not one of those sessions involved the words squeeze, brace or core training.

Every single one received homework to do. (Ps the ones that regularly do their homework get better quicker).

I ❤️ my work so so much.

Every client did have one thing in common. No matter where on the spectrum they were – from mobility aids to not – they all originally came because of pain and mobility issues. Pain was stopping them living the life they desired. That’s where we get to work.

My clients thank me for helping them out of pain and getting back to doing the things they want to do in life. But I always stress that I simply gave them the tools, information and strategy with the Integral Movement Method. They did all the work, not me. It’s all about empowerment.

300 sessions sounds a lot and I’m honoured to have this opportunity. I can’t think of anything else I’d rather do. But to reach and help all those zebrastrong people in pain, I had to do more. I’d love to see 100 clients a week but it’s just not possible. That’s why I wrote my books and created online programmes to try and share with many. I hope they are a useful resource too. #zebrastrong I wanted to find the most effective way to share this with anyone in the same position I was in.

After two years of preparation and creation, it’s my great pleasure and excitement to share The Zebra Club with you. The Zebra Club is the result of my practical experience, research and study to bring the most comprehensive collection of safe, appropriate and effective exercise programs for the Hypermobile, EDS and chronic pain community. I’ve pulled together everything I believe we need to become zebrastrong in a guided journey of movement and health. If my story sounds familiar to you, I invite you to take a tour of The Zebra Club. There’s more info and a welcome video on my website. I hope you enjoy. #zebrastrong
