Some 20-30% of individuals have some degree of joint hypermobility. For many people, hypermobility is not just about having lax joints, being bendy and good at yoga. It can disrupt your day to day life in many ways you may have come to accept as ‘normal’.
Pain, fatigue, repeated soft tissue injuries and digestive issues may be just some of the complaints you are currently experiencing. There are also the psychological aspects of this syndrome that can cause anxiety and fear – particularly around movement and exercise.
